Repairs and Maintenance
We build, maintain and repair horseboxes at our farm in Rudgwick, West Sussex.
In addition to supplying horseboxes, Prime Horseboxes Ltd also help owners with maintenance, servicing and general support for private owners, studs and equestrian sports.

Horsebox Refurbishment
A cost effective alternative to buying a new horse box is to refurb an old one (although it’s always worth seeing what’s available from us first). Refurbishment is also a good alternative if your needs have changed in terms of the accommodation required. Your refurbishment could take the form of a respray, chassis change, new living configuration or horse area. Come and have a chat with us to discuss your needs.
Horsebox Repairs
If you’ve been unfortunate enough to have suffered an accident, we can help. Our skilled team of coach builders are on hand to deal with anything from a minor scuff through to major damage. In addition we carry out all paint repairs and restoration of artwork.
Valeting
Whether your horsebox needs a quick wash-off or a complete deep clean, pop your vehicle in for a quote.
Upholstery
We offer a full made-to-measure upholstery service. This includes new items as well as repairs and upgrades.
Mechanical Repair
All aspects of mechanical maintenance are covered. We have dedicated bays for these works including full HGV lifts. We complete a pre-MOT /plating check before the test. We will always seek the most cost-effective way to repair your vehicle.
HGV Laser Wheel Alignment
Prime Horseboxes offer full laser alignment for all vehicle wheels, offering proven savings of typically 3-5% fuel costs and 10-20% tyre wear.
